F. H. Rowell (Fionnuala Hanahoe Rowell) is a visual artist based in Dublin, Ireland. She holds a First Class Honours BA in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin (2009). Her practice is rooted in observation — drawing from overlooked rhythms of daily life and natural systems to create immersive, contemplative works. Working across digital tools and painting, Rowell explores themes of transformation and transience: moments of transition, shifts in state, and the resonance that remains beyond form. While her current focus centres on AI-driven, digital, and painted works, her broader practice has always been multidisciplinary. Earlier explorations in sculpture and installation continue to inform the material sensibility and spatial awareness present in her work today. She approaches her practice as a continuous body of work — evolving across media, yet consistently concerned with creating spaces for reflection and connection.
